LSF is now offering beginning riding instruction for adults and children. You do not need to own a horse to receive lessons.

Students will learn about horse basics, grooming, tack, safety and beginning riding (walk, trot and canter, or associated walking horse gaits).

Trail Riding Lessons
Lovingood Springs Farm offers trail riding lessons for those who may choose to join the LSF Riding Club and become trail riders.

Instructor Kathy Lovingood has been riding trails since her feet could reach the stirrups. Her goal is to prepare you to ride with a variety of tack on many different types of horses. You will begin your instruction in the arena where you will learn to ride in both English and western saddles, and you will be given instruction on trotting horses as well as gaited horses. Kathy is committed to giving you individual attention - the student to instructor ratio is never more than two to one. Eventually you will be prepared to get on any well trained horse and take a trail ride with others or on your own.
